Leggerissima ed insieme forte

“Leggerissima e insieme forte “ is the title of a paint by Riccardo Guarnieri,
an abstract painter living in Florence. From 1960s he’s working on disappearance of colours and the relationship between light and colours,
painting on a white canvas shadows of colour. We met him during the Biennale of Venice,
and we spent days with him studying and understanding him work, with the same approach using knitwear as a plain canvas,
from very light ( chiarissimo) to very dark( scurissimo) “Leggerissima e insieme forte “ meaning “ very light and very strong” is linked with the matter,
handknitted knitwear , but also the representation of human kind.
